Elders narrate their tales to their grandchildren mostly and intend to convey some kind of message for them to learn. These stories are also a part of the upbringing of children to inculcate family values in their overall personality. Hence, verbal narratives are often forgotten and are never remembered. But when they are written somewhere on paper, their value increases, and people can take advantage of them. They can transfer the knowledge and wisdom to their kids to pass it on to the next generations to come in the future. Individuals must buy and read, as I remember book, to find an accumulated collection of stories of ancestors.

These chapters of a book describe strong connections and family bonds of the people of the past. This book was originally produced by Philip A Hyatt Sr., who has penned down all of his earlier experiences of life right after emigrating to Canada. He initially stayed in the area surrounded by the Rainy River District, located in northwestern Ontario. After many years of pause and ignorance, his daughter-in-law felt the intense need to compile and publish these rough paper drafts.

As its name suggests, this storytelling book is based on the old remembrances of the author herself. When she got married to her husband and relocated to her new home. She met her grandfather for the first time there. However, in their free time, they used to sit together and gossip with each other. Courage and Determination

The author showed his courage and determination by writing about his entire journey in the past. So, he penned down everything that he experienced in his life along with his family and friends. His family undoubtedly supported him in his every decision and made it a success. However, he reminisced about all his struggles and feels proud of his endeavors to improve his lifestyle. It was not easy to survive in a new place, and people had to face various challenges to move on with their lives. They had difficulties at every step in dealing with such patience and confidence.

They learn to never give up and keep their hopes high to convey this message to their offspring to practice the same.
