Reishi is also antiviral, antiinflammatory, and wound-healing. It also reduces liver oxidative stress. Reishi also protects against radiation and chemotherapy-induced toxicity.

How is Ganoderma Lucidum produced?

Ganoderma, also known as red reishi or “red reishi”, is one of many species. The purpose of this study was to determine the optimal growth parameters for G. Lucidum using potato-dextrose-agar (PDA), plates and slants. Our results showed mycelial growth increased with increasing incubation temperatures until 30degC. Then it peaked at that temperature and then declined.

Reishi has been used as medicine for over 4000 years as it is recognized for its health-strengthening, anti-inflammatory and immune-supportive qualities as well as being rich in minerals such as iron potassium and zinc.

Ganoderma Lucidum has been widely recognized for its immune enhancing and antioxidant properties. This is especially true of its polysaccharide -glucans. Furthermore, this powerful medicinal plant has shown evidence of helping protect against free radicals.

Maca is a powerful adaptogen. It provides balance and support for Zenco – Organo Gold Coffee Authorized Distributor times of stress. Thanks to its abundance beta-glucans. These enhance immune function while encouraging circulation health.

Reishi is also known as Rei-sheng in Japanese. It is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties, aid mental and physical endurance and relieve fatigue and depression, while improving sleep and increasing energy.

Ganoderma is rich in peptides which can lower both cholesterol and triglyceride. Polysaccharides containing triterpenes as well as beta-glucans can also help to lower LDL and increase HDL.

Both forms of G. lucidum (ethanolic and soluble in water) contain many of same beneficial components as water-soluble extracts. However, because ethanolic extracts are unable to separate polysaccharides and triterpenes from each other for maximum effectiveness, it is best to take both together for maximum benefit.

Studies have demonstrated that G. lucidum can inhibit adipocyte differentiation and produce hypoglycaemic effects, as well as promote immune function to increase resistance against diseases. Reishi contains polysaccharides, which have also been shown to be effective in this regard.

Ganoderma lumidum is unique due to the growing conditions. One kilogram of product must be harvested from 1,000kg worth of spores to make one kg! In addition, it is difficult to collect the spores without crushing them. This makes it one of the most expensive supplements on the marketplace. What is the best method to take Ganoderma lucidum?

We recommend water-soluble Ganoderma Lucidum extracts to maximize its benefits. Our water-soluble Reishi Extract combines three components: spores (which support immune health), mycelium (which connects them together) and the lucidum-cap to create a powerful blend with unique health benefits. Each part is unique and offers health benefits. For instance, spores provide high concentrations in antioxidants to support immunity while mycelium forms a network that connects cells and has antibacterial antifungal and even antiviral properties.

Reishi can be consumed in many ways. Some people cook with it, while others use powdered or capsule supplements that contain it. It has been shown to treat a wide range of conditions, from cancer and high-blood pressure to arthritis and chronic exhaustion syndrome.
